40 and Up Basketball League - Thursdays

This basketball league is more than about playing basketball, but to also build camaraderie and fellowship with all the players that partake in the season. The league wants all its participants to play the game in the highest form while also upholding a great standard of discipline and sportsmanship.

Only players 40 years or older are eligible to play in this league. This is a recreational basketball league where players can enjoy their game in a friendly, faith-based environment. Game day and times will be announced a week before game day.

Games on Thursday, November 14:

9:15pm - Black (3rd seed) vs. Red (6th seed)

10:15pm - White (4th seed) vs. Green (5th seed)

Bye week - Yellow (1st seed) vs. Blue (2nd seed)

Games on Thursday, November 21:

7:00pm - Yellow (1st seed) vs. TBD (4th/5th seed)

8:00pm - Blue (2nd seed) vs. TBD (3rd/6th seed)

9:15pm - TBD (7pm Winner) vs. TBD (8pm Winner)

Game Day/Times: All games take place on Thursday evenings.
Games times are at 8:15pm, 9:15pm, and 10:15pm.

Payment: League fee is $65 per player. Full payment of the league is due before the team’s first game of the season. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card (a $4 service charge will be added to all credit card transactions).

Team Rosters: Each team is allowed a maximum of 10 players. All players must be 40 years of age by the end of the year of a given season

Team Uniforms: Pre-formed teams are required to provide their own uniforms. Teams must wear similar colored jerseys or t-shirts during their games. The PARC will have temporary jerseys available for teams to use.

Awards: Championship and runner-up teams will win trophies. Each player on the team will receive their own trophies.

Free Agent: If you are interested in joining the league as a free agent, then complete the free agent form. If you register as a free agent, there is no guarantee you will be given a spot in the league or a free agent team will be formed. If no free agent team is formed, then the information provided will be sent to established teams and they will contact and add players as needed. If you would like to request a friend, then include their name in the “additional comments” section.

Terms and Conditions: All players must read and acknowledge The PARC Basketball League Rules (provided further below) before playing in the league. The PARC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not follow the code of conduct. No refunds will be given after the registration deadline unless the league is cancelled or a player can’t be placed on a team.
