Impact Summer Basketball League

Registration opens on March 1.

No tryouts or cuts. Just fun, fellowship & faith!

General Information

The league is for boys going into 5th - 12th grade in Fall 2019.
Each player will receive a reversible PARC jersey and shorts.
There will be 6 games and an end-of-the-season tournament.

Practices:

Each player will have a weekly, one hour long practice.
Practices will are on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday from 6pm - 9pm.
All practices will take place at The PARC gym
(402 Eldridge Rd, Sugar Land, Texas 77478)
During each practice there will be a devotional.
Practices start on the week of June 3.

Games:

All players will play in their games.
All games will take place on Saturdays.
Games will take place at The PARC gym.
The first game will be on June 22.
The end-of-season tournament will be on August 10 and 11.
There will be no practices or games from July 1 - July 6.

Practice Day Requests:

Practice day requests can be made when you register for the league.
Players are allowed to request which weekdays are best for their basketball practice during the season. Available practice days depend on our coaches.
We will do our best to assign your child to their requested practice day, but this is not a guarantee and your practice day request may not be met.
If your practice night can not be met, then we will contact you and let you know.

Friend/Coach Requests:

Friend/Coach requests can be made when you register for the league.
Players can make only one friend/coach request when they register for the league.
Only one player will be connected to any other one player - 1 to 1.
Requests that place 4 or more players together are not allowed.
Requests may be denied in an effort to balance the level of play. Teams are formed based on practice day request, skill level, height, and experience.
We will inform you after evaluations if your request will not be allowed. If our evaluators and staff believe any requests prevents us from balancing the level of play, then we will deny your request and you will be informed.

Grade Divisions:

Grade levels will be organized into the following divisions:
5th - 6th Grade Boys, 7th - 8th Grade Boys & 9th - 12th Grade Boys
(Parents can request for their child to move up a division during evaluations).

Evaluations:

All players must attend a mandatory evaluation.
Evaluations will be at The PARC Gym and times are as followed:
Boys going to 5th - 6th grade: 6:30pm - 7:30pm on Tuesday, May 14
Boys going to 7th - 8th grade: 7:30pm - 8:30pm on Tuesday, May 14
Boys going to 9th - 12th grade: 6:30pm - 7:30pm on Wednesday, May 15
Please contact us if you can’t attend your child’s scheduled time.

Cost:

The cost is $145 per child (a $4 service charge will be added to all credit card transactions). 

Registration:

Online registration ends on Monday, May 13 and in-person registration ends during evaluations on May 14 or 15. Any registrations after May 15 will be $165.

Volunteer:

All coaches at The PARC are volunteers. Individuals interested in volunteering as a head or assistant coach are not required to have previous experience. If you would like to volunteer coach at The PARC, then please complete and provide the Volunteer Coach Application Form. All volunteers will be asked to complete a background check form and meet with PARC staff before they can volunteer coach at The PARC. Volunteers much be 16 years or older to volunteer at The PARC.
