Upward Basketball
Upward Basketball is a league for children currently enrolled in grades K through 6. This league is open to everyone in the community.The league is 11 weeks long; 8 games are played on Saturdays and each team practices one weeknight for one hour. The season is ended with a fantastic Award’s Night at the Sugar Land First United Methodist Church Main Sanctuary. The registration fee is $105 until October 16th when the fee goes up to $130. Kindergartners receive a special discounted registration fee of $75 which increase to $105 after November 22, 2010.
Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues.

Practices will begin week of November 8, 2010
Kindergartner practices are on gamedays and do not start until the first gameday.
First Game is on Saturday, December 11, 2010
