Upward Basketball - Kindergarten thru 6th grade boys and girls
Upward Basketball is a league for children currently enrolled in K through 6th grade. This league is open to everyone in the community. The league is 11 weeks long; 8 games are played on Saturdays and each team practices one weeknight for one hour. The season is ended with a fantastic Award’s Celebration at the Sugar Land First United Methodist Church. The registration fee is $95 until October 22nd when the fee goes up to $110. Kindergartners receive a special discounted registration fee of $75 which increases to $100 after November 22, 2011.
Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues.
Why choose Upward Sports?
Currently, more than 500,000 children (K5- sixth grade) participate in Upward Sports leagues. For over 16 years, Upward Sports has been conducting exciting children’s sport leagues and camps in the US and around the world.
